Dodeca-Mambo: a miniature that faces the question of how is it possibly to use a music genre from the popular world (the Cuban mambo), but in the context of contemporary music (twelve-tone music).

Dodeca-Mambo for piano was recorded by Dylan Christopher, Colchester (UK), in October 2014.

Dylan Christopher performed Dodeca-Mambo at his concert on 23rd October 2014 at the Swinburne Hall, Colchester Institute (Sheepen Road, Colchester, Essex CO3 3LL, United Kingdom) in the frame of The Piano Project 2014 organised by the Colchester New Music, a cooperative of composers based in East Anglia (England).

Dylan selected 23 pieces of different new composers. Have a listen to the music of my colleagues as well! You might enjoy it even more than mine.
